You know.
You know what it feels like when you wake up, but you’re not ready to start the day. So you hit snooze three or four times until it’s that time where, if you don’t get up and rush out the door, you’ll be late for work. And you do, but work drags and you just can’t quite get into the groove of things – the one person in the marching band out of step with the rest.
You know.
Stretch that over a period of time (say, 20 years) and you have a long-term mild depression. Or at least a metaphor of depression that’s relatable. And it’s this relation that I hope to convey so that you know…
You. Know.
…how difficult I find it to keep this site updated.
Y’know?
So, though I am lacking in the energies necessary to maintain this site regularly, I do have the desire to. For although I have few fans, every one of you is important to me. In fact, give yourself a hug right now if you’re reading this. If you were shameless enough to actually do that, then you’re good enough to get a hug from me personally. So feel free to imagine really hard.
Just thinking of the hugs is making me feel better!
Anyhoo – I do have to go and make some progress. Every little bit helps.
And thank you for helping me feel better. You are truly great fans.
